The principles of using aquaculture aerators are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) On cloudy and rainy days, the photosynthesis of phytoplankton is weak, and the dissolved oxygen in the pool water is insufficient, which is easy to cause floating heads. At this time, it is necessary to give full play to the mechanical oxygenation effect of the aerator, and start the aerator early at night to directly improve the dissolved oxygen in the pool water, and achieve the purpose of preventing and rescuing fish from floating heads. Avoid turning on the machine at noon on cloudy and rainy days. Turning on at this time will not only increase the dissolved oxygen in the lower water, but also increase the consumption of dissolved oxygen in the pond, which will easily cause fish to float.

(2) Start the aerator for 1-2 hours at noon on a sunny day, give full play to the water stirring effect of the aerator, increase the dissolved oxygen in the pond water, accelerate the circulation of pond materials, improve the water quality, and reduce the occurrence of floating heads. Be sure to avoid turning it on in the evening on a sunny day, which will cause the upper and lower water layers to convection in advance, increase the oxygen-consuming water layer and oxygen consumption, and easily cause fish to float.

 
(3) When the water quality is excessively fertilized after a large amount of fertilization, a combination of starting at noon on a sunny day and starting at early morning should be used to improve the dissolved oxygen conditions in the pool water and prevent floating heads. The use of aerators is not only related to the above weather, water temperature, and water quality, but also should be combined with the specific conditions of fish farming, according to the changing rules of dissolved oxygen in the pool water, and flexibly grasp the startup method and startup time, so as to achieve rational use, increase efficiency and increase production.

(4) In summer and autumn, the water temperature is high during the day, the biological activity is large, and the oxygen consumption is high. Generally, it can be turned on properly at dawn to increase the dissolved oxygen.
