Impeller aerators need regular inspection and maintenance

After a period of use, the aerator will be easily damaged and faulty in the motor, gearbox, impeller, pontoon and line. It must be inspected and maintained:

1. The motor. During the inspection, the rotor of the motor is rotated by hand, and there is no friction or collision sound in the machine. Check the bearing for damage, wear the carbon brush, and rust the surface of the commutator.

2. The speed reducer. Check the wear of the shaft, gears, etc. of the gearbox, and the oil seal is intact. If damage is found, it should be repaired and replaced. If the oil in the tank has deteriorated, replace the deteriorated oil and wash the sediment in the tank. Inject new oil.

3. Impeller and float. Check the impeller for deformation. If it has been deformed, it should be repaired and then coated with anti-rust paint. Check if the welding of the pontoon is rusted and leaking. If the rust is leaking, it should be repaired.

4. The line. Check the insulation of the motor with a megohmmeter, check whether the terminal is safe and stable, and whether the wire is damaged or exposed. If any of the above conditions are found, it should be repaired or replaced. Check the junction box, replace it if it is etched by water, and make the junction box waterproof.
