Electric or diesel?
It really depends on the electricity that is available on the farm. Electricity is much better in terms of sustainability because electricity can be generated from more environmentally friendly sources. If you want to automate ventilation, it is also easier to integrate automation into an electronic system than to integrate a relay into a diesel. This is possible with a diesel engine, only harder.

Impeller design: We haven't seen such a big difference in the design of the impeller from one to the other, but they are insignificant. Read the specs, ask them to speak to the other farmers who bought them, and see how the aerator's rated output actually turns into ventilation.
Plastic quality: Here, too, it depends on the price. Cheap plastic decomposes faster in water and strong sunlight. When you invest in an aerator, you invest in one that lasts a long time.
Sophisticated gear mechanics: In small businesses, a single motor and a complex set of gears were used to turn multiple wheels. This loses money over time compared to using multiple motors due to the loss of energy in each gear set. You'd better invest more money in new engines. You generally save money and use less energy.
